Conjunction

A conjunction brings two functions close together, asking how they blend and what each contributes.

What it represents

A conjunction is an aspect, an angular relationship between two bodies in a chart, with a reference angle of 0°. In astrological interpretation, their themes blend: imagine two musicians playing the same phrase or two colors mixed on a palette. The result depends on the voices involved. For example, when thought and affection participate, words can become a gesture of closeness. The gift is concentrated energy; the challenge is distinguishing needs that tend to arrive together. Signs, houses and exact distance add detail. Astraluno recognizes conjunctions within an angular tolerance, called an orb, specified in its method.
